Recognized as a Valais grape variety. It first appeared at the Geneva ampelographic exhibition in 1878. At the start of the 20th century, this grape variety was only found in rare plots and above all on the Vétroz hillside.
This Amigne comes from Conthey and, due to its rarity, is in great demand. It is a wine that has been developed to achieve a harmony that is neither too dry nor too sweet.
Notes of blood orange peel, tangerine, clementine.
Generous, full-bodied, often slightly tender wine. Wine with sustained acidity, slightly tannic.
Goes very well with Foie Gras and can be enjoyed as an aperitif or as a dessert wine.
Between 8 ° and 10°.
